The Review

Santa bought this for my 5 yr old daughter. I waited to review it as I wanted to see how clean it came when it was washed. It did come perfectly clean--even using washable markers that did not come with it. I would say it is appropriate for 4-7 yr olds. Children older than that would not be challenged by the word finds or dot to dots as they are not that hard. Overall a good toy. My daughter likes it.

The Review

We have tried these and the Crayola tub crayons and these are much better. Yes, they do occasionally come out of the holder, but all you have to do is push them back in. These are much softer than the Crayola branded tub crayons. Those flake and are harder to clean. The are smooth and are simple to clean up. Getting ready to order out second set!

I bought these based on the few positive reviews... Bad decision. Crayola tub crayons are way better- our last set lasted us quite a long time- where as we just are using these in the bath for the first time tonite and they did all fall out of the holders and are essentially melting in the bathtub. The Review

I love play-doh, and so does my 3-year-old. And who doesn't love extruding?? So when I saw the spaghetti factory, I knew we were in for a good time.

Well, it took me a while to figure out how to assemble the "pasta" maker. I did not notice the diagrams on the box's end flaps. If you haven't figured it out already, the little red tube goes in with the flat side UP, and the hole down. For a day I did it upside down and could not figure out why it wasn't working!

But once we got it going, it worked great. I love all the little mold shapes - the kids made ravioli, tortellini, broccoli, chicken drumsticks, meatballs etc. Very cute. Probably not great if your kid still eats play-doh though!

The Review

I just got this box and took it into my classroom to try.
I'm thinking about dividing a paper into quarters and illustrating seed, sprout, plant, sunflower or seed, sprout, plant, pumpkin.
Then using the medium as it is intended.You see so many unable to do that. Many struggle with oil pastels, but I love them. They are a thick, physical, messy, material. Ideal for starting to use in childhood. There is a whale of a learning curve in many things, oil pastels are one. That and this box is sturdy and comes with enough pastels per color that my class of twenty can have at the colors and have extra black an white to move it around. I'd like to use it on the construction paper at school. It has some tooth.
16 colors, a wide enough range to be interesting, fairly good, and waiting for a good project. Too bad that I pay for it.

The Review

I bought this table for my 5 year old son (who has a sensory processing disorder) to help him with his fine motor skills. The table was easy enough to put together, I didn't have any problems putting it together myself. Took about 15 minutes. The bricks that come with the table are not Lego brand, so don't expect the Lego quality for those. I knew that when I placed my order and just bought the regular Legos separately. We don't have a problem using the Legos with this table like some of the other reviewers have noted. The train set is only 30 pieces with a small track and my son only played with that once before he got bored. It might be good for younger kids, or if you purchased additional track pieces. My son is more interested in the Lego side of the table. I bought plastic storage bins from Wally-World to store the Legos inside the table and they are really convenient to just take out and either place on the table or on the floor. They were only $1 & $2 each for different sizes. All in all, I think this is a great table for the price and I have seen improvement in my son's fine motor skills in just a couple of weeks! I must admit that I have spent about as much time playing with the Legos at this table as my son has! I suppose you never outgrow Legos...

It is nice ... don't worry about coloring your son/daughter clothes ... and teaches them to put their colors in their place ... durable, actually thrown anywhere, and fits most children sizes (my son used it although he is only 2)

If you have a young artist, I would recommend this apron. It is well made, and does what you want it to do, keep the medium off the artist. Easily wipes clean.
